During the coronavirus lockdown, I've turned my guestroom into a sweatshop and am sewing masks on my ancient Singer.

I'm at a loss to describe this vintage pink item. Was its first life in a boudoir, or a theatre foyer, or a Victorian sitting room?

The Shakers conducted their business affairs and met with the outside world in the Trustees' Office & Store.
