The crumbling brick walls are not what one wants to see in a hotel that's supposed to be safe. I refrained from probing the walls for sturdiness after having seen this. This place is near Paddington Station (Queen's Gardens). It's currently (Dec. 2008) closed for 'full refurbishment', HAHA. Dynamite is what they need.
