Nowadays almost extinct, its preferred habitat are the rear wheels of certain types of bicycles. It has mastered the art of mimesis to perfection, being quite indistinguishable from a rusty chain. The less care the rider administers to his (or her, there I said it) bike, the easier the snake can adapt. It is also highly poisonous. Therefore most bicycle owners choose not to get anywhere near it. Sadly this also leads to ill serviced bikes.
