Failure by design

This organic cream container is praised by the manufacturer for only using the minimum amount of oil-based material (a.k.a. plastic). It requires structural support from a cardboard corset, otherwise it would behave more like a bag than a solid container. Unfortunately they seem to have ignored the importance of the bottom part, where this thing gets in contact with harsh objects like plastic trolleys and refrigerated shelves with glass floors. I ask you, who could possibly have known that this failure mode is likely to happen?
Please don't do that!

This medical skin lotion is sold for 100€ per liter. I expected this tube to be truly empty, as I couldn't persuade any more of the stuff to come out. What do I find? A sizeable amount was left inside.
Failure by design - unrecoverable liquid

The question arises: was it designed in such a way on purpose or was is just lack of brain cells. I estimate the amount of remaining liquid to be in the 1% to 5% range, which is totally unnecessary and unacceptable.
Crappy headphone jack

I really wish the small local electronics shops would stop to stock this kind of CRAP. And I especially asked for a better quality product. The other stuff they had was even worse.
I think I'll have to get a real metal one via the interweb... and the sad thing is: probably for the same price.
I know where I would shove it!

But I suppose the 'target' would not appreciate it much. I would make sure it would not come out again too soon.
Stereo adapter... yeah right!

Now I don't see why the seller would sell this one as a mono-to-stereo adapter. The contacts clearly don't do the job. BTW, they're only copper plated and do have some springiness to them.
Can't get it up
The ugly
Definitely a quality product
Say no more!
The good
The bad
Unholy relay wiring

These two relays have the same switch state when the whole power supply is of or if it is in offline current set mode. If the control logic looses power (blown fuse), the relays internally short + to - and all the power gets pumped into the power transistors. A lot of heat...
I thought fuses were used to make stuff safer, but here... Once the fuse for the control logic has blow, 75W get pumped into the heatsink. I call that a possible cause of fire and or burned fingers. I don't want to think about that it was running in this condition for several hours - unnoticed.

The left two fuses were blown, having a very unfortunate effect.
Also what bugs me a lot is that the screws used to keep everything in place are made of a particularly soft iron. They literally 'melt' away when loosening them with a standard (and matching) screwdriver. I'll have to replace all of them.
