It's happened to me before that I've had LCDs with stuck pixels (not whole lines). I could fix my laptop's screen by physically hitting these pixels a few times. Guess what, it helped my calculator as well. I whacked it several times on all kinds of spots, changed the contrast back and forth and was lucky. First only one line was revived, after more whacking the second line sprung back to life as well.

Two borked lines. At least the TI-85 came with a protective screen cover.

Now how do I fix these 2 lines ?

I haven't used it for ages. Unfortunately 2 lines are broken. I tried twisting the case a bit and also opened it up to wiggle the LCD connector, but no success.
