Elecfreaks - OSHW box

Quite nice, but not much of the printed stuff survived. The whole box was wrapped in sticky tape.
Test jig for DSOs

The purpose of this device is to create hard or even impossible to trigger pulses.
It supports 3.3V and 5V voltage levels using a analog multiplexer chip.
The protoboard is available at elecfreaks.com - quite good stuff.

I'll test this board with an MBI5030 LED driver - or so I thought.
The MBI5030 comes in an SO package alright, but with 1.00mm pin pitch. This adapter is for 1.27mm pitch. DOH!

Got this one for free. At least I don't remember ordering or paying for it ;-)

V0.1 board assembled. It works OK once all the bugfixes have been applied to it.
Left-over PCBs might be found here .

I had to add these two (back-to-back) to get the thing to run stably. I don't know if it is the dummy load or the DUT that starts to oscillate...

They are used as reverse polarity protection.
These tiny SOT23 parts (AO3401) are really quite beefy. They exhibit about 50mOhm (logic level drive) and can take up to 4A each. The most they will have to tolerate on this board is 2.5A each.
I got these on ebay. A pack of 50pcs is about 12$ including shipping.

Believe it or not, but I couldn't find a battery holder with usable CAD drawings.
