This LED died on the first day. Apparently the manufacturer didn't do a burn-in test.

Works acceptably for the first prototype. It certainly doesn't get warm at all. Further examination will need a scope. One pot sets the desired brightness, the other one the fade-delay. Might be found on tindie.com

There's a voltage drop of about 1V across the 5m strip. Too much resistance. Needs multiple power injections to compensate.
