Pulse trigger is set to a pulse width of about 7µs, the pulse has 9µs. And it happily triggers. Further research shows that it is always off by about 2µs in this range... It doesn't get any better with sub-µs pulses. Lecroy WaveAce224 - firmware 1.01.01.18R2

I ordered a couple of parts from MicrochipDirect . The overall experience was very positive: rather quick delivery, very reasonable shipping costs (considering it was sent by courier). Oh, I forgot to name the part ;-) MCP1804 Have a look at the invoice and find the bug.
