I took this photo today after having my camera sitting in rice for a week. It was sitting in rice because it was rained on and would not turn on or respond in any way. I am very blessed to have it working again. The week in rice worked to pull all of the moisture out of the electronics of the camera. p4s13 p3s14 p2s15

I am really not sure exactly what type of iris this is other than it is a type of bearded iris. However, I couldn't help but notice how symmetrical this particular flower was.

This is a closer view of a Butterweed plant on the edge of a farmer's field. p10s9

Butterweed will take over any tilled ground that is allowed to lie fallow for an extended amount of time.

A little bit early for these Narcissus to be blooming in this area. g8s2
