Landie (on his way to the Sahara) surveys a row of Toyotas in Gibraltar, presumably en route to some kind of UN project in Africa. I've since found that the Toyota dealer on the rock specialises in just that. Their brochure is serious eye-candy. Incidentally, this Discovery has since been stolen — if you happen to see a 300Tdi that looks as though " www.aidconvoy.net " has been removed from its doors, do please let me know...

The little green car appeared to have crashed into the (my) Landie but the owner left no contact details — just left the car! Shortly after that, the Landie was stolen from this very spot, a private road just off Rosebery Street in Aberdeen. If you ever see the Landie, registration N577NFH, and with distinctive white steel wheels and " www.aidconvoy.net " on the side, please let me know. Me, or your local police.

Between Chernihiv and Nizhin, Ukraine. Advertising a garage where hopefully they fix them, rather than just mounting them for display :) It's a Zap . What's the Landie up to? Moving out of Brighton for the very last time, Landie full of posessions... Kinda links up with my recent meet-up with Toby just prior to his going to live in an eco-village in Missouri for a while. We know Nicky and David must like us, because roughly this picture (a little sunnier!) is on the front cover of their brochure — complete with Landie in it! :)

Just a nice little village square. It was pretty quiet, and we sat outside the little café and took in village life for a while — unwinding with one of our last stops on our way home.

Landie's brilliant Maggiolina roof tent, being demonstrated by Simon. The ladder is the standard steel one, later replaced by the lighter and more rigid (but more fiddly) aluminium one. The tent itself is now deceased, having taken the brunt of the impact from my inverted Toyota Land Cruiser. (And possibly also saving my head!) Photos of that uploading shortly (hence the updating of this comment!)

The last shot I ever took with this little Nikon Coolpix E2000 before the sand killed it, and one of the last major trips for Landie before he was stolen. Sahara, Morocco. Well, probably Morocco. Possibly Algeria! ;) Just uploading a few bits that never made it before — I'm having a hard disc re-organisation and I thought they may as well go up! :)
