Gavin's shiny classic (mid-life crisis) Jaguar is very shiny!

If you want to make me happy, buy me this. I don't know why I liked it so much, but it really caught my eye. Seen – not apparently for sale – in a trendy stuff shop in Amsterdam.

When I took the Jaguar along to its first classic car show, I loved answering the "when did you get it" question with "Wednesday"! This was the second show, a little while afterwards, by which time I had a bit of explaining to do regarding why I'd still not polished it enough. (I'd been too busy driving it! ;) )

I'm slightly terrified of the work and the bills that are quite possibly heading my way, but oh dear me, I've always liked these... For the geeks: Jaguar XJ-S 6-cylinder manual. A 1972 design, launched in 1975, with this one coming along in 1985. Born sage green, but repainted with its LPG conversion in 2000.
