And if you look closely in the top left, what appears to be a jellyfish. Unidentified Flying Marinelife?

Bum on the kerb

I spent a bit of time with this guy, who didn't move so much as an eyelid. Not convinced he will ever fly again, or indeed move, but I left him knowing he was at least noticed.

Mhairi in Chandos

Just a K750i cameraphone shot, but I like the monochrome feel. Mhairi will probably hate this, but I actually think she looks rather sophisticated ;)

Twins

Will & Giles Hippisley. Spot the difference! Sorry about the low light causing so much noise for the cameraphone. I love the "real fire in the hearth" warmth though! The pub actually was lit that colour.

They're not actually glum, merely contemplating something or other... :)

Cryptic

For the " Guess where, Aberdeen " flickr group. It's actually the stained glass window on the front of Northfield Church.

Me with Babs, one of mum's rescued kitties; my mum and my grandma. Babs is named after grandma's mum, my great-gran, Barbara. Pentax Super-A, Ilford XP2, self-timer, and the exposure compensation set to x2 which may have been a bit pessimistic of me!

Sis'n'gran

One of my (assorted) step-sisters, Lesley, and my gran. Shame about the motion blur, but I like the "moment".

Coco WON'T pose!

27 Mar 2006 85
Coco is excused, however, since she's just recently returned from a harrowing five days trapped between two walls after dashing off on an adventure. Muchos thanks to the lovely lady who heard her and called the SSPCA, although it's a damn shame they had to be called two days running before going to look. Pentax Optio s5i struggling against the light. Coco hates flash as much as I do! ;)

Well, it was about time I uploaded this one. I always love when you can see the shutter opening through the lens in mirror shots like this... naked camera... kind of a feedback thing going on. Well, *I* like it, anyway! ;)

Muralling (well it should be a word)

21 Sep 2005 126
Brian painted a fantastic mural at the Aratta community centre in Chernihiv, Ukraine. It's based on a horse from the antique Carousel on Brighton seafront. After we'd finished and gone home, a local art teacher encouraged children to continue the theme around the other three walls of the room. The result blends perfectly and has made a grey room into an incredibly colourful, fun place. We support the centre, which runs many projects to help the victims of Chernobyl, in Ukraine. Find out about it, and support us at www.aidconvoy.net Taken with a Pentax ME-Super on Agfa 200 without flash — probably (film type from memory.)
