The house behind the gate is a lot less run down! I hope they can preserve the gate as it is, rather than renewing it. ;)

I couldn't get a photo of this with which I was really happy, so I'll distract you with words instead. This is in the grounds of Blair Castle, a particularly good country estate, where the Duke is unique in the whole of Europe in being able to legally maintain a private army. Nowadays it's purely ceremonial, but as recently as the Second World War, the Atholl Highlanders served with the British Army.

Blair Castle has a very special woodland with some of the tallest trees in the country, which have been being planted as an arboretum there for hundreds of years.
