This fascinates me: my eyes saw Laura perfectly exposed (of course) and the reflection in the window was very dark. The camera decided to attempt to correctly expose the window instead. This is a bit of a crop (or what the heck kind of framing would it have been!? ;) ) It's also a huge manipulation of the light levels in what was a RAW image. I love the purple sheen the top-right of the window has taken on. That's not clipping, it's just a quality of that glass. There's clearly something to be explored and exploited here.
