Kieran Turner's photos with the keyword: burning

I'd come out to take some photos from Torry Battery, and barely paid any attention to the car on the beach. Until this happened! A small red car dashed off into the distance immediately after it started... There was a surprisingly small "pop" when the petrol tank went up. It was kinda fun looking through my earlier pics to see if I'd inadvertently caught anything naughty going on, but since the car on the beach was a bit of a blot on the landscape, I'd been avoiding it. View large to better appreciate the skeleton of the car.

This is almost the end... once the fire was out, they formed a bucket chain and used sea water to douse the battery and engine bay. Trying to preserve a little water in the fire engine, just in case.
