More of an ethereal glow than a sea of blue. I'm not blaming the camera: it was something about the light of this place, and also, I fear, I've missed the bluebells' peak by a day or so.

From the previous (2004) Sen'kovka festival, Zhenya in boy-band "Vivat" with their amazing young bugle player. A copy of this band is now playing the same songs, in breach of Zhenya's copyright, so I'm wishing him good luck in sorting it out. Meanwhile he's performing in his two-guy group "Trim" with dancers from the "Art Studio Detroit". Keen followers of my photographic equipment will be pleased to know that I've bought a hood for this lens since this shot was taken. But, nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeh, I kinda like this flare.
