The "Rail" — you had to wear shades because there's no windscreen. If you wanted to go above 50mph you had to wear a bike helmet! (And it weighed next to nothing, so it got there very very quickly!) My friend Mike owned this, but at the time of this photo I was the only person who could actually get insured for it, so I drove him around a bit! The best thing was driving up the several flights of steps to park outside the 3A20 computer lab (COGS) at Sussex University. The double-takes from people looking out of their windows were priceless!
