(War was busy inside the nest. We named them that because they were constantly watching us — from directly over the door. They didn't seem to mind the constant comings-and-goings.)

As you can see the chicks were being well fed.
We joked all fortnight that they had to "be out by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday" — just like the rest of us.
They flew the nest on that very Saturday morning :-)
