Lewes (East Sussex, UK) suffers really badly from flooding, since most of the flood plain has been built on, especially in the latter 20th Century when various concrete-floored retail parks and industrial estates have sprawled well beyound the railway goods yards they began in. Here some pumps dump water from the streets back into the river after the flood has begun to subside. It had been so bad that domestic insurance companies set up emergency contact centres in the back of lorries!

Not quite so sublime as the 404 elsewhere in this set, but quite cheeky, I thought. For the geeky, note that it's pre- and post-facelift 205s. ;)
