Overgrown

Since the Covid-19 pandemic started a lot of the public footpaths in England have become overgrown and neglected through lack of use and maintenance. This one is at the top of Old Winchester Hill in Hampshire. I walked part of the way up, but decided not to continue as I was wearing shorts and was fed up getting stung by nettles. Yeah, I know, I'm a wimp :-))) I thought it would make a decent photo though.........thanks for looking!

Taken in the hamlet of Stopham, Nr Pulborough, West Sussex. This is the Gatekeepers Cottage at Stopham House. I posted a shot of this last November: www.ipernity.com/doc/keithburton/45887414/in/album/374491 it's still in pretty much the same state, but is now awaiting planning permission for restoration and an extention. HFF everyone and enjoy the weekend.
