Taken in my garden outdoors in natural light using a small folding table and a sheet of card as a background. The egg-shaped vase again, with a handful of Common Reed Grass heads from the Mill Pond at Langstone Harbour. Simple, but effective I think. Best viewed large and hope you like it. Have a lovely day and a splendid weekend everyone.

These reeds, which are growing at the sides of the mill pond at Langstone Harbour, Hampshire were transformed by very strong backlighting. Please view large for best effect...........thank you for looking. I think I've caught up with everyone since I returned after a week off...........my apologies for making so much use of the "yellow stars" but I didn't have time to comment on every single shot.

Part of the boardwalk that snakes through the reed beds at WWT Arundel, West Sussex. I can always hear lots of birds calling from within the reeds, but they're rarely seen. I did walk around that corner just under a year ago and find a Tree Creeper though, which was a great surprise. www.ipernity.com/doc/keithburton/48411990
