Some nice golden brown colours emerging. Taken at Alice Holt Arboretum about 3 weeks ago.

A visit to Alice Holt Arboretum (near Farnham in Surrey) to see if there was any Autumn colour about........there wasn't..!! Nevertheless, we had a pleasant walk until the rain arrived with a vengeance, so we retreated to a local garden centre café for a bit of lunch and then called it a day and went home. It's not often you see my wife and I in the same photo, but I had my tripod with me today and used the self-timer for this shot.

The bracken is dying off and turning golden brown, but in this part of the forest the trees are mainly evergreen, so there won't be much change. Best viewed large, on black. Thank you.
