Keith Burton's photos with the keyword: pine cones

I found these on the ground during a recent woodland walk and took them home to photograph them.

As much as I hate to admit it, I think my days of crawling around the woodland floor taking photos are numbered. My knees and back just can't take it anymore without a three day rest afterwards :-))) It's much easier to take a little bag with me and collect stuff to photograph at home and this is just what I've done here. I set up a small table in the back garden (in the sunshine). I used natural light and a piece of card pinned to my fence as a background with a subtle texture added. To get maximum depth of field I did an in-camera focus stack. I hope you like it.

I spotted this pine tree festooned with pine cones in Alice Hold Forest. To my mind it definitely looks like a green man perched up there?
