Spotted these on one of the ponds in the Hilsea Lines (a nature reserve), Nr Portsmouth, Hampshire. Mum looked like she was having clean up, whilst the kids were snoozing in the sunshine.

It's really difficult to keep clean when you have to wash in dirty water :-)) Have a good day everyone...............and an enjoyable weekend if you can!

This swan took exception to me standing at the edge of the pond and started a charge towards me - before getting out of it's way, I managed to get off a series of shots. This one was the only one in focus!

All the birds at WWT Arundel seem to have caught the "wash and brush up" bug..!! This one looks better viewed large, on black :)
