Primrose Cottage 1903. Taken at Milford Locks, Eastney, Portsmouth. Can't find out much about this cottage, but I believe it may be the last surviving residence of the "shanty town" that grew up around the locks in the late 1800s and the early 1900s, remaining there until shortly before WWII. I have no idea who owns the cottage now. Please view large, on black.

Nearly everyone who visits Dell Quay with a camera takes a photograph of this wreck. I am no exception - can't resist it! Have hardly taken any photos this past couple of weeks - busy with work, gardening and other stuff. Just had two days off, but now back to work tomorrow for a week of early shifts. I'll catch up with everyone soon.
