Still hanging in there, even though the new leaves are appearing! Best viewed large...........thanks for looking.

We visited Hinton Ampner House and gardens a few days ago. This colourful patch of Chard stood out beautifully in the sunshine and I couldn't resist taking a photo. This will be my last post for a while as we're off to the West Country to visit family for around a week, leaving early tomorrow. I probably won't have time to comment today as we have a lot to do before we leave. I'll catch up with you all when I get back. Take care and stay safe!

Taken at the beginning of November in woods near Buriton, Hampshire. I liked the way the sunlight picked out this leafy branch and the ivy on the tree trunk.

One of the things I like about Topsham in Devon is that it is full of little alleyways and other nooks and crannies which nearly always reveal something interesting when explored.

Pretty much a grab-shot, taken just as it started to rain. We saw this beautiful bright sunlight and stopped on the jetty in Kyleakin Harbour.

I don't have a recently taken fence photo available so I thought I'd add this one to the group! This is actually the fence around Hayling Island Golf Course. Taken at sunset. Apologies to those refugees from the site "whose name we do not mention" who may have seen this before.

This translucent material was draped over the rafters in a pub sun-lounge to shade the customers.

I drove through these woods near Finchdean and the sunlight coming through trees was gorgeous. Sadly, I think I've failed to capture how it looked on the day. I do like how the ivy is thriving on the trees though.
