This is the boat that landed us on Skokholm in very low visibility, but calm seas, I took this on my phone as I was walking up the hill to the accommodation. The orange dumper truck (driven by the Warden) collects luggage and carries it up the hill.......and subsequently delivers it back to the harbour on leaving. together with bags of recyclable waste to be taken to the mainland. Just as well, as most people have 3 or 4 bags each.

..............on Skokholm Island. I'm playing catch-up at the moment. Please forgive me if I haven't got around to you yet - I'll do my best over the next day or so. Although I can't possibly comment on all photos, I do view them all.

I think this is a Wheatear, but I'm not sure. Confirmation or otherwise would be appreciated. Taken on Skokholm Island. Thanks to Alby (Ajophotog) for confirming the ID - a young Wheatear.

This is where I stayed whilst on Skokholm. There is also a Common Room where everyone meets at 9pm and the Warden takes the days bird, animal and insect counts, and answers any questions.
