I had an hour to spare yesterday morning while my wife was out, so I took a quick drive to Hayling Island where I came across a piece of land about 100m from the beach which had obviously been on fire recently. Luckily it was only a small patch and had not spread very far. It left behind some burnt branches which really stood out against the undamaged foliage, which I thought would make a good photo. Best viewed large, on black. thanks for looking.
