This decaying but still handsome looking ship was brought to Llanerch-y-Mor in 1979 with the intention to use her as a static leisure centre and market. She was known as 'The Fun Ship' and it was possible to visit the engine room and bridge as well as the market. Plans for a 300-room hotel never appear to have got further than the preliminary planning stage however, and it was not long before the ship closed for business.
