A small patch of these lovely daisy-like flowers have appeared in my garden. I have no idea where they came from except that I got some topsoil from a neighbour last year and they may have been in that. They are quite small - the whole flower is only around 4cm across. We've moved them into a couple of pots until we decide where to put them. Macro Dreams Challenges - "Flower Heart"

Taken in my garden. I like the way the bee has curled itself around the stamens to get to the pollen. Go large if you want!

This tiny little bee (around 1cm long), along with many others, was busily collecting pollen among the wildflowers around Skokholm Lighthouse. I got a few photos of them during my lunch break.

I have no idea why a Carpet Beetle would be found on flowers in my garden. I initially thought it was a variety of Ladybird. It's very pretty though!

Off to Exmouth tomorrow to visit my daughter and grandchildren for a day or so. Thought I'd post this before I went........taken in a neighbour's garden this afternoon.
