Taken last Sunday when my wife and I met up with my oldest daughter and some friends at the Salt Shack Café adjacent to Northney Marina on Hayling Island, Hampshire. It was raining when we left home and when we arrived I left my camera in the car. When we left the café an hour or so later the rain had stopped and so I grabbed a quick shot using my smartphone camera. It had started to rain again, by the time we walked back to the car, so this was my photography for the day :-)) Best viewed large I think. Have a good weekend everyone.

Probably the most photographed blocks of flats in Gosport. But on a nice sunny day I think they look splendid. You can also see Gosport's Holy Trinity Church betweeen the blocks.

Taken around sunset at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. The "superyacht" at the back is called Amaryllis and is virtually brand new. A quick Google reveals it was built and launched in Germany in August this year. It is 78 metres long with a gross tonnage of 2050. Takes 12 guests in 6 luxury staterooms who are looked after by a crew of 22. At first I thought it was my surprise Christmas present.......................then I woke up!!!!
