Keith Burton's photos with the keyword: autumn colours

Most of the fallen leaves are pretty wet and soggy nowadays, but I rescued this one from a puddle the other day, and brought it indoors to dry out and photograph, just because I like the colours.

I last visited Alice Holt Arboretum at the end of September and the autumn colours had not yet emerged. I went back today only to find I'd missed the best bits! Sometimes you just can't win, but I got several images I was happy with, so can't complain. Please view large, on black. Thank you.

..........the leaves on this sycamore tree are turning brown. This will be my last post for a while. Off to Wales early tomorrow for a week of nothing but photography (and maybe a little alcohol), with some very good friends.
