Meet the Duck.......he lives on my car aerial and is handy for spotting the car when parked in a large car park. I was given a bag full of these some years ago and I think this is about the 4th generation! My wife and I (and the Duck) are away for the next week. My youngest daughter is taking the grandchildren away on a holiday in the countryside and we are going to be house-sitting for them wile they're away. I'm taking my iPad so I may leave the odd comment or two if and when I have the time and inclination, but I certainly won't be posting any photos. I'll catch up with you all when we get back! Taken this afternoon, at Southsea, Portsmouth, UK. As well the Armed Forces Day celebrations, there was also free live music at the Bandstand where the atmosphere was wonderful with everyone enjoying themselves in the blazing hot sunshine. Great weather for having fun, but not so good for photography. Please view large, on black. Thank you.

Just for fun :) Found this outside the pub we had our lunch in on Thursday!

I did take some "normal" family shots, but this one was the most fun to do! I've had a great weekend with Jackie and both my lovely daughters. I took this just after we'd had a "Fathers Day Breakfast" and then unfortunately my younger daughter had to get a train back home to Exmouth.

We had lots of fun just after sunrise projecting shadows on this wall............just hope none of the local residents were looking out of their windows at the time! I'm sure at least one of my fellow photographers will post a couple more...........

Last weekend we visited my Grandchildren for the first time this year, and so I thought it was fitting that my first post of the year should be of them having fun on Exmouth beach.
