Taken at the end of January when the average sea temperature was between 4.8C and 7.2C, this man had just finished a swim and was drying off in the shelter! I was wearing several layers of clothing plus a hat and gloves. It was very cold and the wind was icy. I know cold water swimming is supposed to be good for you.......but no thanks :-)) Happy Bench Monday everyone. Taken at Southsea Common, Portsmouth, UK during Armed Forces Day. The little "Armed Forces Day" flag was actually stuck in the back of his hat. It was a lovely atmosphere here today, but extremely hot with blazing sun..........not ideal for photography, but good fun!

Spotted this chap having a smoke break in the sunshine at Arundel. He has the look of a real character about him!

Looking back through some of my older photos, I realise that back when I left Flickr and transferred hundreds of photos to Ipernity like many others, people simply did have the time or inclination to trawl through them all. Additionally, when I first came to Ipernity, I had very few contacts. Consequently some of the photos have had very few, or no views at all. I've decided that now and then, I'm going to resurrect one and re-post it, just for fun. This one was originally posted in February 2013. Taken in Lewes, West Sussex.
