About thirty years ago, I started taking pictures of plants that had been wrapped for the winter in burlap, "brin bagging" as it's known around here. I was taken by how they often looked like sentient beings struggling. Or standing. Or talking. Or modelling. I've been scanning negatives from that time. This was from January 1999. Tri-X in my Canonet.
