There were, by my estimation, seven thousand people at the local Climate Strike march here in St John's today. Most of the attendees were well under the age of twenty. At one point we were asked to take out our cell phones and send an email to the provincial premier. And several thousand people did so. Thus this picture, looking back through the crowd behind me. Yay for the Millennials and the Gen Z's.
