The young bluejays always seem less fearless than their parents. There are a few lessons yet unlearnt, I guess. This fledgling bluejay has been hanging around our yard for a few days; his parents are never far away. They warn him when our cat is out but they'll put up with our own presence. The whole family likes a peanut or two and they know who puts them out.
