We don't usually expect much spring-like activity in April here in St John's, Newfoundland. The weather gods save that, Spring, for May usually. But we've had a week of fine weather and the past few days the spring flowers have been popping up. No one planted any crocuses in our front yard, but they've self-seeded in and we get a few blooms every year. This one was three days ago and it's still in bloom today.
