Two days in a row we have seen this fellow hanging around. When I caught sight of him today, he was chasing a junco -- the junco outflew him, and got away. The hawk took to this spot on our fence for ten minutes, constantly looking around for new prey . . . and new threats. The latter came first and a crow chased him away.
