Side view. You can really see the trim in this one. I used some hideous 1970's trim that I picked apart until I got a shape that looked Renaissance like. It ended up coming out pretty well!

Not really the best picture of the dress but here it is, done! The dress would be worn over a chemise. I might add some trim to the hemline but that will be it. This style was worn in the second half of the 16th Century in Venice, Italy. With the materials and style I went for, this is a middle class dress.

The 16th C Venetian gown I've been working on. I'm sorry the picture is so dark. I hand drafted and draped the bodice and then pleated the skirt to it. It does fit and I should be able to take pictures of the dress on in a few days .
