My Petticoat for my dress! I added the trim by hand. The ruffles are all done by hand. The only machine sewing, really, is the back hem (the front was by hand), the seams, and the ties along the waist.

Top view of the Walmart shoe before it got made into something more colonial looking. The shape was close enough that it wasn't hard to get a pseudo looking 18th Century shoe out of it. I just wanted something Mom would be comfortable to walk around in and yet something that wouldn't stick out immediately as modern. Also, Mom asked about what she would wear for shoes so...

Side view of the remade Walmart shoe. I only added tabs and a bow.

Pockets! Mom's pockets are made out of this lovely "blackworked" linen I bough at Joanns.

One of Mom's Jackets. This one is out of almsot tissue weight linen. I wasn't sure if I'd have enough for both a petticoat and a jacket since there was only 5 yards but it was 5 yards of 60" so, plenty of material to play with. She'll probably wear a green apron with this ensemble.

Blurry picture of the pocket. The next one is much better and has a better description.

I didn't bother to drape the sleeves since I already have a decent pattern for that. This is the front of the muslin for the jacket as it was being draped.

My stays before I finished putting the binding all the way around them.
