The inside of my stays. The inside is lined in muslin. The binding is in pink silk.

The stays are done in turquoise silk with pink silk binding. The boning is all cable ties or duct ties. The inner layer is cotton buckram I got at Joanns for $2 a yard.

I had pieced the stays together and redesigned the top of them. In this picture, I hadn't yet reconfigured the front piece.

This was after I changed the top of the stays but before I had taken in the sides again to make the angles more in keeping with stays of the period.

This is the corset that I made too big. It's pretty but it's just way too big. I need to put eyelets in it and sell it on Etsy.
