Particularly this tree , which has had a rather rough life. It's flowered before, but never so well. So we're enjoying. This is the tree most often seen in my bird pix, by the way.

Or at least that's what we think the tree is. Joan planted some fruit trees around the yard a few years back and we've learned the labels on those plantings weren't reliable.

A year ago this tree was blooming. Today I'm hoping we'll see crocuses for the first time. Given a choice, I'd take last year's weather over this year's weather.
