Experimenting with the FT-1 adapter to connect my Nikon 1 V2 and my ancient 300 mm lens. Together this is equivalent to an 810 mm lens on a 35 mm SLR. It works. I've got the focus slightly wrong on this pic--the bird's tail's sharper than its eye, and even that's not exactly right --but I rather like it anyway. I need more practice with the setup. Uncropped, and lightly processed.

Joan's used the birdfeeder hooks to restore that sunflower to an upright position. This Jay approves. One Sunflower .
