We were eating breakfast at Freighters Restaurant in Port Huron when this train wandered by. Since I don't recall ever seeing a train on this line before, I hurried to the window and snapped this photo. The camera was set up for a very different photo, and that shows. Nonetheless, I really like this pic.

Thomas Edison lived in Port Huron for a few years when he was young. This waterfront statue portrays him as a youngster. He worked out of the nearby (and still standing) railroad depot for several years before going on to better things. The depot's now a museum, devoted to Edison's Port Huron years.
