The Blanket Flowers in our front garden. Somehow I managed to make this high contrast photo work. I used this as my Facebook cover for the day a year ago. Not sure why I didn't post it to 366 Snaps ; it's far better that the photo I used. ========== Some days I've a definite idea what I want to photograph; other days not so much. I shot a little bit of everything a year ago today--the downtown park, the cats, flowers, yard furniture, some rocks. And (inevitably) the trellis. In the end, I posted a stupid joke. ========== This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps . Number of project photos taken: 18 Title of " roll :" Miscellany Other photos taken on 6/9/2012: I shot a bunch of pix of the woodpeckers, none very good, and a few fine pix of a cardinal but with the wrong lens. I made an effort to capture our back yard in one or two photographs, and failed; I also built a pano that I've never posted. Oreo was camped out in the dirty clothes, which I found enchanting. And we had another raccoon ....
