Christmas Present

31 Dec 2010 72
A couple days before the holiday they installed these nice streetlights along Brittany and Amy Lanes, the Mulliken Meadows streets behind our yard. Guess the village has finally decided the new development's here to stay . They're rather attractive, I think. But I'm glad our view of this one's obstructed by our garage; it puts out a lot of light. Perhaps come spring they'll plant a few trees. But I'm not holding my breath.

Setting Sun

A really spectacular sky above Mulliken Meadows. Shot from our yard. I'm absolutely astonished: This photo is the third most "interesting" photo for November 30 (as of December 6). Thanks to all of you for viewing it. Explored! #113 [October 12, 2006] Thanks! -Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as my most "interesting" photograph. 2/11/06

There's Five Kinds of Snow

16 Jan 2008 67
So says Joel Mabus ; heard him tell the story again last Friday. The past few days have looked more or less like this; the snow comes, sticks for a few hours, then goes away. Repeats daily. Yucky. I like this one better in the larger sizes , where you can really see the flakes.
