Lansing's Peter Mooney's the shortstop, whose throw didn't get the batter-runner (Oliver Tavarez). The (forced-out) runner in the photo is QC's Ronny Gil; Jonathan Jones is in right field. May, 2003; Davenport, Iowa. Home (then) of the Quad City River Bandits. This stadium has been substantially rebuilt--essentially, replaced--since these photographs were taken. And the team's now the Swing of the Quad Cities.
