Mallow

Got back from an errand and found the newly-opened mallow catching the morning sunshine. So I raced into the house to grab my camera. But the sun had gone behind a cloud. A bit of patience until the sun returned, but the photo was complicated by wind, and the shade of a nearby tree. Think it came out OK, though.

She does.... ========== Fifteen daily pix is both enough and necessary for a photo-a-day of project. I discussed this on January 11 , but today-a-year-ago shows the reason you need to establish such a rule/habit. I was busy last June 13. We were heading north the next morning, and I had laundry to do, the lawn to mow, and stuff to pack. I found a break in the busyness to take a few pix, sorted through 'em for the daily post (inevitably a trellis pic), and got on with the chores. Looking today I see some bad framing, some focus problems, a bad idea done pretty well, and a couple pix I'm willing to share with the world. None were special, but these were good enough. ========== This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps . Number of project photos taken: 17 Title of " roll :" Mostly Flowers Other photos taken on 6/13/2012: none.
