These two shacks--they house charter fishing boat offices--were visible from our hotel room last weekend. Both were closed for the season, of course, though a guy I took for Silver King's captain stopped by and sat on the dock, watching South Haven's harbor, for an hour or so. Presumably he was wishing he was out on the Lake.

One reason photo-a-day projects fail is the photographer gets bored. One way to combat boredom is to try something new..... I only shot 9 pix for 366 Snaps last August 27, but they were taken all over the area. The barn I captured for the daily photo project is off toward Portland, this lumber yard's in downtown Sunfield , and as I returned to Mulliken I snapped another shot. Although all three of these pix look over-exposed, the EXIF data shows they were all shot at high shutter speeds. Some of the cause was haze, and the morning sun. All the same, I was getting a bit frustrated about this. ========== This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps .
